Maintaining a clean Aguascalientes, starting with the front of homes or businesses, is everyone's responsibility, which is why the Municipal Presidency, through the Secretary of Public Services (SSP), continues to provide home talks with the aim of raising awareness among the population about the hygiene of the city.Carlos España Martínez, head of SSP, highlighted that so far this year around 5,315 home visits have been made both in homes and in businesses, preserves and educational institutions, in which personnel from the Department of Inspection and Awareness, integrated by the Directorate of Cleaning and Public Cleaning, guides and invites the population in a personalized way to comply with the cleaning obligations established in article 1574 of the Municipal Code, as well as to adopt waste separation habits.For the municipal president Leonardo Montañez, it is important to continue promoting safety and hygiene actions in the population such as daily sweeping the front of houses and businesses, respecting the established hours to deposit garbage in the containers from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and respect the perimeter of the containers so that the collection units can maneuver safely.Keeping the city clean is everyone's task; in this way, the clogging of sewers in the rainy season is also avoided, a healthier environment is maintained and an Aguascalientes with a better quality of life.
